A. The puritans were a group of English immigrants eventually settling in the Boston area. Nearly 13,000 people emigrated from England within this groupB. The came to the new land in search of religious freedom.
C. They left England to escape religious persecution and economic downfall.
D. The colonization of the Massachusetts Bay was overall very successful and became the largest colony in America at the time.
