nov 22, 1891 - Mid to late 19th Century Southern and Eastern European, Mexican immigrants

Description:

The Newlands Reclamation Act of 1902 allowed a lot of immigrants to come to America because it founded immigration. There was also a need for cheap labor.
Most of the immigrants at this time came because they needed jobs that were not proved in their home country.
All of the jobs on factors and working on farms made it easy for immigrants to find a job. Sadly they didn’t get paid very much, but it did open new opportunity.
Around the 1950’s the hispanics became a minority groups. Most still had to work low paying jobs.
