Description:

This act restricted what immigrants could do. It made it so the foreigners could be deported, and so the it would be harder for immigrants to vote.
With this act, Immigrants couldn’t vote until they lived in the country for 15 years. It was created to secure the government because people thought that foreigners were a threat.
Now it was harder for immigrants when they entered America. They were not given equal rights at first.
As a result, America thought that their government was more secure.
