Description:

Joseph Priestley was a English chemist and philosopher famous for isolating oxygen scientifically when at the time scientist didn't know that oxygen was an element. His experiment was he put a mint plant in a closed container with a burning candle and the candle used up all of the oxygen and burnt out.
