Description:

Robert Boyle was a famous philosopher famous for many things such as:
-writing the book "The Skeptical Chemist" which would become a very famous book
-defining an element
-what a element and compound are and that elements could be combined to form compounds which he believed air was
-developed the mordern day scientific method: observation , hypothesis, experiment, model , repeat.

These theories would later in history be very helpful to other scientist and for the development of the atom.
