Description:
John Dalton created the atomic theory. In his atomic theory there was five main postulates. These five postulates were;
- All matter is composed of atoms.
- Atoms cannot be destroyed or created.
- All atoms of the same elements are identical.
- Chemical reactions occur when atoms are
rearranged.
- Compounds are formed by the combination of
2 or more different kinds of atoms.
John Dalton did have some experimental evidence as he worked with several different gases.
