The Great 1923 Hyperinflation, under the Weimar Republic, is instigated mostly due to the French invasion of the Ruhr, after Germany had failed to supply a monthly instalment to their reparations from the Treaty of Versailles.
Great unrest with Germany and its economy led to a substantial increase in Hitlers influence over society, for more and more people would listen to his orations, voicing similar unrest with Germany as well.
