Description:

The beginning of WW1 increased the size of Russian problems more than creating new ones. The extreme conditions of WW1 were too much for Russia to handle politically, economically and military. Food shortages were added to the problem of not enough of anything. Soldiers were sent without guns or equipment which would create more problems for the government. The realization that the Russian government was less capable of organizing a war effort than maintaining a country. Soldiers began to desert their posts and began a revolution at the war front. This would begin future revolutions.
