Founded by garret brown Steadicam was a brand of camera stabilizers it mechanically isolates the users movement allowing for a nice stable shot on any surface this allowed film makers to get better shots with the help of human movement espeally for a first person view (seeing what the charater sees). Although it seems small it effects many films out there.
