o spores can be inhaled via industrial areas of above animal products, or working with animal products.
• Treatment:
o Antibiotics, including intravenous

o 1752: first clinical description of anthrax
o 1875: Koch introduced the bacteria
o 1877: Koch’s Postulate, bacillus anthracis was used
o 1881: Pasteur develops first anthrax vaccine for animals

o 1979: Outbreak in USSR
