In 2010 the WRC was hosted in Portland Oregon by Region V. The conference was a huge success boasting over five hundred and seventy four attendees with fifty five general interest sessions offered to attendees. In 2010 the WRC conference made many steps towards the goal of making the WRC completely sustainable. For the first time the WRC offered up a digital schedule, one that over 20% of attendees took advantage of. Printed programs were designed in such a fashion that they fit in name badge pouches and therefore had a smaller environmental impact than in previous years. These and other efforts were received well enough that Region IV is looked to build off of this success in hopes of making the 2011 WRC Entirely green with no programs or unneeded waste.
