Description:

King Louis was the last king of France, as the monarchy fell during The French Revolution. During the beginning of his reign, he tried to change the French government to include Enlightenment ideas. The French nobles didn't like what he was doing, and his ideas to change the French government were rejected. He helped the Americans with the American Revolution which put France into heavy debt.
