jan 1, 1810 - Amedeo Avogadro In 1810, only 7 years after John Dalton’s discovery of compound breakdowns and the weight of atoms, Amedeo Avogadro discovers that an atom has two atoms of an element making water from HO to H20. Unfortunately it took scientists four years after his death to except his discovery.
