Description:

The reign of terror was a time in France where a lot of citizens were killed. They were killed if they weren't in complete support of the French revolution by the committee of public safety and Maximillien Robespierre. Its estimated that approximately 16 000 people were killed. On the 5th of September is when they released a statement saying "make terror the order of the of the day." This is considered the beginning of this terrible but very important time.
