Homo Erectus also known as, "Upright Man" lived in social groups, and their brains were bigger than Homo Habilis, and Australopithecus. They were the first group to leave Africa, and they went to Asia, and Europe. Homo Erectus were the first early humans to ever walk upright. Homo Erectus made more complex tools, and their bones were stronger. Homo Erectus were around for about 1,500,000 years. Homo Erectus were the first to create fire, and used this to cook food, and keep themselves warm. Homo Erectuus were around when Homo Habilis were around, and they migh of killed them. Homo Erectus build shelter with their tools. A primary source is the tools Homo Erectus used because they could examine the tools to see how they used them, and how they killed animals.
