Padded gloves prevented the injuries of fists as well as serious injuries for the opponent, for a round to last 3 minutes benefited the fighters by allowing it to come to an end when both fighters are incapable of moving on or before one was seriously injured. A 1-minute break was also beneficial in a way that it was enough time for a fighter to recollect.
