This era consisted mostly of bare fist fights and the introduction of mufflers was later introduced. by having quick break times and end times a winner was decided quicker so that no more harm was done to the recipient, cheap hits were banned to also decrease injuries in other areas. The roped in area also prevented bystanders to get injured during the fight as well as a way to give an area the fighters know to stay in.
