oct 1, 1791 - Political clubs started
Description:
On October 1 the political clubs the Jacobins and the Girondist separated from being one political group. They did this because the Girondist thought the Jacobins were too extreme. This was a very important part of the French revolution because the Jacobins actually ruled France with Jean-Paul Marat. A member of the Girondist, Charlotte Corday actually killed Jean-Paul.
