Description:
After being locked out of the estates general, the third estate went to a royal tennis court where they had their own meeting. This is where they created the tennis court oath. Every person there signed it except for one man. This is a really important part of the revolution because it marks the beginning of the first estate realizing that they can fight for what they want.
