Australopithecus are different from other spiecies because they are mostly ape, they have the most body hair of our whole ancestry, and they had brains the size of an orange ( a chimp-size brain.) They are compared so that we can study the difference of how we evolved.In the video it tells us how australopithecus was found and studied. Australopithecus never migrated they pretty much stayed in the same spot their whole lives.
