Australopitecines, also known as Southern Ape are the first early humans on earth. These early humans were short, and did not stand up straight. These early humans did not make stone tools. Some famous primary sources for Australopithecines are the bones of Lucy, and Salaam. They have found almost a complete set of Lucy's bones. There brains were known to be sizes of oranges. These early humans did not overlap with any other early human group. Australopithecus were around for 1 million years.
