Description:

Vladek and Anja make their way back to Sosnowiec, and are able to stay with Mrs. Kawka and then Mrs. Motonowa. Mrs. Kawka suggests smugglers might be able to take them into Hungary, to safety. They agree and arrange this, however the smugglers betray them to the Nazis. They are taken to Auschwitz. Anja and Vladek separate here.
