Had 3 possible origins such as the UK and France, China and Kansas in the US. The strain was highly lethal causing over 25 million people to be killed in the first 6 months. There were 3 waves but over time, it ended up only having a 20% fatality rate. Certain populations such as native Americans were especially hard hit because they were vulnerable
