From May 5, 1923 to November 1, 1942 The British empire waged battle against Vihcy France to capture the the Island nation of Madagascar. After many casualties the battle resulted in a victory for the allied forces. On September 10 Operation Stream Line Jane took place that lead to the island being secured in October.
