jun 30, 6 BC - Jesus (6 B.C.E.-36 C.E.)
Description:
Jesus was a man in Rome that started the Christian faith. He began to preach, and through this formed a community that believed that he was a savior to them. At first, all of his followers were Jews, which explains the similarities between the two sects. Jesus died when the Roman administrators viewed him as a threat and proceeded to kill him by hanging him on a stake. This only made the religion spread more, which is surprising. Soon, the religion became the largest in Rome. (2.1)
