mar 31, 1774 - Quebec Act

Description:

The Quebec Act extended the southern border of the Canadian Province to the Ohio River. It also allowed for legal toleration of the Roman Catholic Church. This lead to confusion from the colonists. Many were asking questions about the land claims in the Ohio country. Others thought that London was trying to strengthen Catholicism and were afraid of political and religious tyranny.
