Description:

The intolerable Acts was Great Britain's response the the Boston Tea Party. They made sure that all positions for member of the council, which were once chosen by election, were chosen by the governor. It also allowed for military commanders to lodge soldiers in private home. The Intolerable Acts were seen as threat to their political freedom and united the colonist even more.
