mar 18, 1766 - Declaratory Act

Description:

Thanks to the Sons of Liberty, Great Britain decided to repeal the Stamp Act with the Declaratory Act. Besides repealing the Stamp Act, the Declaratory Act also stated that Britain has the power to pass laws, in any case whatsoever, for the colonies and people of America. The Declaratory Act introduced more conflict as Great Britain still needed to recover the money they lost in the war.
