Description:
Pilgrims make first sighting of land on November 9, 1620 after a inclement weather forced them off course. However, after almost becoming shipwrecked trying to navigate towards the Hudson River where they had planned, they decided to anchor in what is now Provincetown Harbor in Cape Cod Bay, Massachusetts.
