Description:

The Mayan civilizations consisted of very intelligent beings and created the civilization that once laid where Mexico, Honduras, Belize, Guatemala, and El Salvador are located today. They had heavy trading with the Mesoamerican societies, which helped improve their economy. One of the biggest and most important parts of their society was their use of Cacao. They used it for currency, trading, and most of all food. (2.2)
