When British authorities approved two Catholic chaplains, Frs. J. Therry and P. Connolly, they managed to establish a Catholic-Protestant relationship which could never occur in Britain. Therry refused to commit discriminatory acts against others depending on if they were Protestant making him the government’s least liked priest.Added to timeline:
