Peru liberated themselves from Spain in 1824. Most of the people from Peru wanted nothing to do with Spain due to the way the Spanish treated them. When other countires began tp gain indepence from spain it gave them hope so they strated to push for independence with the help of Simon Bolivar.Added to timeline:
