jan 1, 1952 - Cinerama introduced
Description:
By 1952 TV had started to take profit away from the film industry. Cinerama was a process of using three cameras to create a very wide angle projecting method, something that was not currently doable with TV or in homes.
This changed the film industry as this method made films a lot more immersive for the viewers, it was a pioneering invention for widescreen and anamorphic formats used in more modern filmmaking.
