Description:
- Metis and some Plains Cree, and a few other Aboriginal peoples engage in battles in Duck Lake, Frog Lake, Batoche
- BUT their expected response was the police
--> The GoC send in military troops on the newly extended railway, and about 100 people die throughout the rebellion
- 8 Aboriginal warriors are hanged, and others are sentenced to jail
