Much like many other Latin American Revolutions, the Mexican Revolution began after the peasants finally became fed up with the upper class and wanted change. After many different leaders marched to Mexico City demanding change and were defeated, the revolution in Spain changed the Mexican government so much that Mexico declared independence in 1821.
