dec 25, 1888 - LOUIS LE PRINCE

Description:

Louis Le Prince was an English inventor that invented his own 16 lens camera.
It was the size of a small refrigerator, and was much more portable than Thomas Edison's Kintetoscope.
He is known as 'The Father of Cinematography' due to the fact that he utilised paper-backed stripping film which made it stronger, and the first successful moving images in the world were recorded by him in Yorkshire.
