apr 19, 1775 - Battle of Lexington & Concord

Description:

The king had given British troops orders to take the colonist weapons at Concord. Upon hearing this the colonists responded by organizing a resistance and facing them off there, when they got there they were given orders to turn back. The colonists obeyed, but took their weapons with them as they were retreating a shot was fired and the first battle of the Revolution ensued, with the colonists as the victors.
