dec 16, 1773 - Boston Tea Party
Description:
As mentioned the Tea Act angered the colonists as they hated to be restricted or told what to do in any way, this anger is what fueled the Boston Tea Party. On December 16 American colonists dumped 342 chests of tea in to the Boston Harbor. This was the first major protest and sent a clear message to the British that the colonists were not to trifled with.
