Description:
After the French and Indian War Britain found themselves neck deep in debt because of the actions taken during the war. Because of this abundance of debt Britain began to tax all sugar imports in to the colonies in order to begin repaying their war debt. However, this act angered the colonists leading to colonists smuggling the sugar instead.Added to timeline:
