In October 2011, Siri was released alongside the iPhone 4S. Siri is a virtual assistant controlled mainly by voice. Siri can do things such as cal contacts on your phone, check the weather, search the internet, and more. The assistant can also answer questions such as, "Will you marry me?" with comedic results. Siri was praised by reviewers, although some had skepticism about it's promises.
