Description:
 On August 4th, 1789 the deputies sat down to write a new constitution as quickly as possible. They gathered to write this constitution because of the storming of the Bastille. During the meeting they were able to change lots of laws. The clergy gave up some of its power to let people practice other religions. The document was influenced by the Virginia declaration of Rights which was written in 1776
