Description:
During this time in 1615, Samuel de Champlain voyaged into the interior of Canada, accompanied by his Native allies the Huron. On this expedition Champlain aided the Huron in an attack on the Iroquois as it was mutually beneficially for both parties. However, Champlain and the Huron lost the battle, and Champlain was injured as well. This lead to Champlain staying with the Hurons in Huronia for the winter.
