nov 1, 1978 - Thomas Gilbert

Description:

Based on Behaviorist principals, Thomas Gilbert postulates several formulas as a prescriptive means to increase human performance. His first equation: W=A/B which is “Worthy performance = Accomplishments/costly Behavior” (page #). Gilbert’s ideas spawned an entire movement that has evolved and is still popular today in management for corporate organizations and with in education. Gilbert is considered the father of the Human Performance movement. The concept of improving someone's, or some group's skills is the epitome of IDD for me.
