dec 16, 1773 - Boston Tea Party

Description:

When the Tea Act was passed, the Colonists got very mad. A large group of Colonists dressed up as Native Americans, and went onto a Tea Ship, where they then threw over 340 crates of Tea, and destroyed over 90,000 pounds of Tea, which was worth a lot of money. The King George III got very mad over this, and his anger caused the Intolerable Acts.
