Description:
During the height of Gucci Mane and another rapper Young Jeezy, 5 men attempted to rob Gucci Mane's ice cream cone chain. In His attempt of self defense Gucci Mane acquired a gun and shot at the robbers killing one man. A warrant for first degree murder was put out for his arrest which he eventually turned himself in on May 19 pleading the shots were in self defense. On May 24, he would post the $100,000 bail. The murder charges were dropped in Jannuary 2006 due to insufficient evidence.Added to timeline:
