Description:

The British decided to get the money that they had invested for the colonies by taxing them on one of the most common goods-paper. Parliament decided to pass a law that meant that all paper in the colonies had to have a special British seal to show that the paper was from Britain and approved by King George III. This enraged the colonists , so they decided to boycott the paper and attack tax collectors. Eventually, the act was repealed, but that was the start to another flurry of British enragements to the colonies...
