Description:
On August 27th, 1923, a group of ambassadors were killed on the border between Greece and Albania. Mussolini, the Italian leader, was furious and demanded that Greece pay a fee for the murder. Greece however, had no idea who the murders were ;but, on August 31 Mussolini invaded the Greek island of Corfu. Greece appealed to the League and since they were already in session the League acted swiftly. They condemned Mussolini's actions and suggested Greece pay compensation.
