Description:

Brigham Young met with Jim Bridger famed frintiersmen and owner of Fort Bridger. The two men discussed the merits of settling Salt lake Valley. Bridger expresed his opinion that growing grain would be difficult in that area, making it unsuitable to sustain a great population in that area.
