Description:

Terrorist attacks inflicted on African US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania with truck-bombs. The attack was perpetrated by the Egyptian Islamic Jihad, Osama Bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri and over 200 people died.
The US opinion on this was a shock, as it was one of the first terror attacks that were performed by Al Qaeda. There was a lot of media attention towards the event, which was just what the terrorists wanted to obtain.
