Yusuf Ibn Tashefin died in Morocco in the month of Muharram. He appointed his own son, Abu-l Hasan 'Ali as his successor. Yusuf ibn Tashfin died in the 500 A. H. This event of his death is important as he already appointed his son as his successor for his throne. He make sure his son to recognize his African and Andalusian dominions. He also advice his son not to disturb the African tribes inhabiting the gorges of the Atlas or the deserts to the south of Morocco, such as the Masmudah and others. To fight against the infidels, he advice his sons to conclude a peace with Ibn Hud, the Sultan Of Saragossa, in order to the Muslim to win against the Christian. Lastly, he also asked his son to fix his court at Seville, not at Cordova. His son, named ‘Ali, followed what Yusuf had told him. In Andalus, he kept off the Christian from the dominions od Islam, and made incessant war on the Christians. ‘Ali was also equally prosperous in Africa.
